If you are an Industrial Control engineer or technician dealing with Modbus RTUs, PLCs, Drivers and SCADA servers, you must have Modbus TCP Plant Simulator is your toolbox. With this tool, you can test and verify your SCADA tag names, IO Server mappings, Modbus addresses, alarms, visualization displays, historians, reports, data communication channel throughput, controls, and more without deploying even one RTU or PLC.

Here is some of the ways you can use Modbus TCP Plant Simulator to improve your control systems:
Use Modbus TCP Plant Simulator simulation tools to change process values and verify the value in your SCADA tag database
Issue a control and see the result in the intended RTU/PLC database. Use RTUs sequence of event to verify the sequence of controls and their timings
Put one or more RTU/PLC(s) is simulation mode to generate a high rate of events and see the effect on the performance of your SCADA system or IO Server. Examine the delay and accuracy after exhibiting a high rate of events.
Put one or more RTU/PLC(s) is simulation mode to excite your alarms. Make sure that the system can tolerate a high rate of alarms. Make sure that the alarm logic functions properly when generated, inhibited, ended or acknowledged.
You must make sure your communication infrastructure is able to handle real-time data communication before deploying your system. This requirement is more serious when dealing with GPRS, EVDO, iDEN, IP Radios, Municipal broadband or other means of communication that do not provide for a fast or high capacity channel. Write into the simulated RTU/PLC holding register or coil periodically. Using the Modbus TCP Plant Simulator sequence of events, you will find out how many transactions are lost or delayed
Modbus TCP Plant Simulator simulates your RTU or PLC just like a real device. You can find solutions for many of your plant problems using Modbus TCP Plant Simulator just by utilizing the tools and functionalities provided by the application.
Important:
Please make sure you install .Net Framework 3.5 before installing the application. You can obtain the framework from here.
